- Write two questions about ideas or parts of the story that are confusing to you (things you would like to address during coaching)
Omelas: Literary Devices and Terms
- Choose one of the following: Allegory* (challenge option), Alliteration, Climax, Personification, Metaphor, Sensory Details/Imagery, Simile
- Create a poster that contains the following elements:
- Title (name of your device)
- Definition of the device in your own words
- Quote from the short story that uses your device, or for allegory and climax, a description of how and where the device applies
- A few sentences about how the device adds to the experience of the story, what effect it has on the reader
