Starter 3: Watch the video above.  What does he say are the possible benefits and downfalls of the future?  (I suggest making a T-Chart for this).  What is the most interesting point he made?  Why?  Try to connect that point to yourself.

2. Talks about 2 forces in the globalizing world: Jihad and McWorld.  Asks: "What are these forces?," and, "What are their implications for democracy?"
3. Read, annotate, vocab
• Read to page 220, paragraph 2 by tomorrow.
