- Why: Increase trade between these countries
- How:
- Tariffs:
Reduces tariffs (taxes) on good
shipped from one country to another.
US exports to Mexico have gone up because of this.
- Immigration
and Travel: Makes transporting of
goods across borders easier, allows some immigration for work under a
special kind of visa.
- Labeling: Goods shipped into a country must have
labels in the language of that country (French for Canada, English for
US, Spanish for Mexico)
